I didn't end up using Maidstone mobile mechanic due to the cost and nature of the fault on my car but he was really helpful with the issue and suggested some really good advice on what to do to fix my issue for the best possible cost. Really helpful and I'm sure I will give him a shout in the future for any car issues!

Darren came out this morning to fit a brand new steering fluid pump which I’ve been having problems with for weeks! He was very professional, quick and efficient! So pleased with the outcome and will definitely be going back to him if I have any other problems! He also pointed me in the right direction to get my MOT done :) This is my first car and have no idea about anything to do with them so he really put my mind at ease and was really genuine, very very happy! Fantastic service, very fast response and was able to fix the problem very quickly. Work also done completely Covid secure, with communication and payment via phone, no face to face contact and even sanitised the key after. Showed a real awareness around concerns about Covid, which I was very grateful for as we are a shielding household. Darren has been working on all of the family’s cars for a few years last one being my Mondeo which had the cam belt/auxiliary belt and water pump changed and after all that he changed the oil and filter plus air filter, always a superb job, you won’t find a better motor engineer, thanks Darren.

I have never used a mobile mechanic before and as my usual garage didn't get back to me regarding the problem with my car and the pain of having to get it towed to the garage I thought why not ring a mobile nechanic. I spoke to Darren and told him what I thought was the problem. He said he would ring me back with a quote and within five minutes he did which was very reasonable. Booked him in for the repair and he showed up when he said he would. Job took about hour and a half and he was a lovely professional down to earth guy. Definitely be using his services again if I ever break down again. Thoroughly recommend him. .

Full service and inspection for MOT. Can’t fault any of the work Darren has done over the years on my car. Will always use him first for any work needing completed if he can do it. Arrived as arranged - quickly diagnosed the problem. Diagnostic check cost half the price of main dealer. Also asked about a recurring brake binding problem (which I had spent a lot of money on with a local garage trying to cure the problem). The problem was identified and sorted very quickly and efficiently and at a price which very pleasantly surprised me after the hundreds I had spent elsewhere. My Picanto is running better now than it has in a long time. Will definitely use you again. Wish I had known about you before.
Darren is without question a professional, reliable, hardworking, honest and personable motor mechanic charging competitive rates for his work. Following an initial word of mouth recommendation, I now use Darren for looking after both family cars ie servicing, Mot’s and repairs as required. The clutch went on my car as I was about to leave for work. I had no clue how I would get it to a garage but looked into mechanics that were mobile. I found Darren and read the reviews. We were still a bit dubious as his prices were much better than anyone else but decided to go with him anyway. I am so glad we did! He got the job done quick sharp and before my husband could say “he better show me what he has taken out” Darren knocked on the door to explain to my husband exactly what was wrong and show him all the bits. Turns out it wasnt the clutch but the bearings (I think?) either way, he got the job done, was professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend and will be passing his number on! Had to write a review about the exceptional service I received as it is so rare these days to find good honest reliable tradesman. I contacted Darren on Friday night after my car packed up out of the blue. I had a response within 5 minutes asking for more details, having told me what the likely problem was Darren said he would call at 9am the next day to let me know what time he would be able to fit me in. He called at 9 on the dot! Super reliable and turned up the same day to fix my car without any fuss. He was quick thorough and priced very reasonably. Really saved me so much hassle and I was back on the road in less than 24 hrs, all done on my doorstep. I can't thank him enough! Would recommend all day long.
Contacted Darren with a fuel injector problem on my Peugeot 308. He came out ASAP and gave a diagnosis and amazing quote. Work completed as soon as part came in. Excellent service. I phoned Darren yesterday after my car limped all the way from Sittingbourne to Maidstone. He came out the same day and wasn't able to diagnose the fault properly so came back today. He's had to give me the bad news that it's never going to work again without a new engine but that's life. I've already recommended him to family and friends and will be using him for all servicing from now on (on my new car…).
Ive been using Darren for about 3 years now. Being a driving instructor, my car needs to be mechanically in tip-top condition. He does all my servicing, recently replaced my brake pads, and carried out some diagnostic checks, with an amazing state of the art system. Very reasonable priced, and extreamable reliable, and above all, a genuinely nice chap.

Very pleased with using Maidstone Mobile Mechanic. After fitting a replacement fan belt it was discovered that it was the tensioner at fault and this was quickly sourced and replaced. I was even offered a lift to my dentist appointment which I would have otherwise missed.
